1) NMMA Recognizes Everglades with Second CSI Award
The 2018 Customer Satisfaction Award for Excellence in Customer Satisfaction.
For the second consecutive year, Everglades received the CSI Award for outstanding customer service. The NMMA’s Marine Industry Customer Satisfaction Index (or CSI) Award recognizes those marine manufacturers who regularly measure their customers’ satisfaction, and actively pursue improvement based on those numbers. After taking delivery of their boat, customers complete surveys covering a wide range of areas, from the overall performance of their new boat, to its aesthetics and design.
“This is a great accomplishment for our company and our dealers,” CEO John Ward said. “It reflects our continued commitment to delivering great products and serving our customers. I’m proud of the progress we’ve made as we continue to take the Everglades brand to new heights.”
Ward accepted the award on behalf of Team Everglades at the Innovation Awards breakfast held Friday morning, and the award was later displayed in the booth for the remainder of the show. For a complete list of winners by category, check out Boating Industry's article or Trade Only Today's.
2) Seeing Visitor Reactions to Our 340DCTwo of our 340DC models were in the water at the Everglades booth. One was available for sea trials, wowing everyone who went for a spin. On the other side of our dock, the latest 340DC sparkled with a jet black gel coat and optional Gemlux outriggers. The addition of an aft Makefast awning and forward Mediterranean bow shade allowed visitors to lounge in comfort and enjoy some AC! (Want to see all the options available for customizing the 340DC? Don't let the photos of the 340DC's luxe detailing and styling fool you! With twin 425hp Yamaha XTO outboard engines, it boasts more than enough power to get you offshore, or wherever the fish may be biting. As many have already learned, this newest member of the Everglades fleet is the best of both the fishing and luxury worlds. Why choose, when you can have both?
3) Owners VIP Party
On Friday night, dozens of Everglades owners - and soon-to-be owners! - joined us in the booth for cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, live music and the chance to meet and chat with the Everglades team. The brilliant Lumitec LED lights of all eleven boats surrounding the end of the pier completed the event's lively atmosphere; there's nothing quite like seeing a 435cc illuminated when darkness falls. Special thanks to Great Performances for helping make our event so successful and enjoyable!

4) FFMD Says Hello!
Before heading off to Fort Lauderdale for the Bluewater Movements Sailfish Challenge, Capt. Paul Roberston and his Fishing for Muscular Dystrophy crew stopped by in their brand new 435cc. Their beautiful monster turned heads and earned envious stares wherever she went, especially with her quad 425hp Yamaha XTOs, painted to match! You can keep up with Team FFMD by visiting their website, or give them a follow on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter!
