Following the success of last year's raffle, Everglades Boats and Fishing for Muscular Dystrophy have teamed up to once again raffle off a brand new 243cc. This award-winning boat has everything you need to get on the water, and fishing, fast. What exactly do we mean by "everything"?
A LOT! The incredible prize package includes a fully-loaded 243cc, custom built for FFMD, complete with a 300hp Yamaha Outboard motor, an 8' Power-Pole, a Minn-Kota trolling motor with iPilot and charger, Marsh Tacky carbon fiber outriggers, and more. Don't have a trailer to tow your new boat? Don't worry - the prize package also includes a 2018 dual axle aluminum trailer from Amera-Trail. All you'll need is a sunny weekend and some bait in the 36gal livewell! To see the package's full listing - and buy your tickets! - visit FFMD's raffle page!
As if the deal weren't sweet enough, consider this: proceeds from each $100 ticket will go to the Fishing for Muscular Dystrophy Foundation, Inc. and the Muscular Dystrophy Association, both of which are 501(c) (3) organizations. Each year, the MDA hosts dozens of multi-day summer camps across the country, providing the opportunity for children affected by neuromuscular diseases to spend time with other kids who face the same challenges, and partake in activities they normally wouldn't be able to, like swimming, horseback-riding and more. The MDA summer camps are offered at no cost to families, and for many, it becomes the best week of their year. These programs are only possible with the help of the MDA's partners - like Paul Robertson and Fishing for MD! - and generous donors. By buying a raffle ticket, you may count yourself among that number, and make a difference in a child's life. To learn more about the MDA Summer Camp program, please visit their site here.
If you're still not sure, just ask last year's FFMD Raffle winner Matt Montgomery if he thinks that $100 was worth it!
The winner will be drawn on November 4th, the last day of the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. Either way, the kids win, so buy a ticket and support a great cause...you might just find yourself on the best bay-boat around!
